Crossing back a Shantung-like Pleione with pink tepals and a yellow lip with forrestii has produced a very fine yellow Pleione. The round lip has entire keels, a lovely fringe and is beautifully marked with red spots. Rainer tried to grow this twice but never with much successs so it now falls upon me to look after it and hopefully distribute it further.
